Daryel Manreza-Paret is a Professor at the University of Havana’s Faculty of Physics. He successfully defended his PhD in 2015 and has since held a position in the Faculty of Physics at the University of Havana. Between 2016 and 2018, he undertook a postdoctoral stay at the Institute of Nuclear Sciences (ICN) of UNAM. In addition, he is a research associate at the Institute of Mathematical Cybernetics and Physics (ICIMAF) in Havana, Cuba. Daryel’s primary research focus is the effects of strong magnetic fields on the observable properties of compact objects, including white dwarfs, neutron stars, and black holes.
