Veronika Barta is currently affiliated with the
HUN-REN Institute of Earth Physics and Space Science, Sopron, Hungary. She
received a Master’s degree in Astronomy from Eötvös Loránd University. She
completed her Ph.D. studies in Atmospheric Science at the University of West
Hungary. In 2016, she was a Fulbright postdoc fellow at the Massachusetts
Institute of Technology, USA. She was a Research fellow at the Geodetic and
Geophysical Institute, Research Centre for Astronomy and Earth Sciences,
Hungarian Academy of Sciences. Her research interests are Solar—terrestrial
physics, Atmosphere—Ionosphere coupling mechanisms, Ionospheric Sounding,
Atmospheric electricity, and Planetology.
