Dr. Bing Zhang earned, from Southwest University, his B.Sc. and M.A. between 2002 and 2009. He received his Ph.D. from the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2013. He joined the Tianjin Key Laboratory of Water Resources and Environment, Tianjin Normal University in July 2013. He worked as a Visiting Professor at the Northwest Pacific Region Environmental Cooperation Center and the University of Toyama between September 2016 and April 2017. His main research interests include water cycle, interaction between surface water and groundwater, hydrology, water quality, and stable isotope.
