Dr. Junyan Liu is a visiting scholar at the University of Toronto in Canada and a senior visiting scholar at the University of Leuven in Belgium. Current Senior Member of the Chinese Society of Mechanical Engineering, Member of the Chinese Society of Optical Engineering, and Member (Director) of the 10th and 11th National Societies of Non-Destructive Testing. He is the deputy director of the Department of Aerospace Manufacturing Engineering, School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Harbin Institute of Technology, professor/doctoral supervisor, and a fixed member of the State Key Laboratory of Robot Technology and Systems. He has won two second prizes in natural science in Heilongjiang Province, one provincial and ministerial level technology invention award, and one first prize and one second prize in science and technology in universities in Heilongjiang Province.
