Dr. Takumi Abe received his Master’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Hokkaido University in 2004. He received his Ph.D. Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Hokkaido University in 2007. He worked as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Health Sciences University of Hokkaido (2007–2019), and was promoted to a senior assistant professor in the year 2019. He is now a senior assistant professor of the Graduate School of Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Division of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Okayama University. His research interests include organic chemistry, synthesis, indoles, umpolung, natural products, and catalytic reactions.
