Joseph Habib Dagher received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maine in 2022 and 2024, respectively, and is now pursuing a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on offshore wind energy engineering. He conducts his research as part of the Ocean Engineering and Energy team at the Advanced Structures and Composites Center in Orono, Maine. His research topics mainly include: floating offshore wind technology; floating offshore wind substructure design; and floating offshore wind design trends.
Andrew J. Goupee is the Donald A. Grant Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Maine. He earned his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees, all in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maine in 2003, 2005, and 2010, respectively. He is also a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and the International Society of Offshore and Polar Engineers. His main research areas include floating offshore wind technology; numerical methods in floating offshore structures; and model testing of floating offshore structures.
