Prof. Dr. Chenglu Liu has been an associate professor at the
Nanjing University of Technology since 2019. From 2018 to 2019, he worked at
the Jiangsu Industrial Technology Research Institute Advanced Metal Materials
and Application Technology Research Institute as a researcher. He received his
Ph.D. from the University of British Columbia, which he attended from 2011 to 2017. His main
research focuses on the hot-extrusion forming technology of AA6xxx
aluminum alloy material and the characterization and simulation of the multi-scale
second phase during the hot deformation process of AA6xxx aluminum alloy
material.
Prof. Dr. Xuewen Li has been a professor at the Nanjing
University of Technology since 2021. He worked at the Harbin University of
Science and Technology as a lecturer from 2015 to 2018 and as an associate
professor from 2018 to 2021. He received his Ph.D. from the Harbin Institute of
Technology, which he attended from 2010 to 2014. In addition, he serves as a member of the
Plastic Engineering Branch of the Chinese Society of Mechanical Engineering and
has conducted substantial scientific research with institutions
such as the Third Academy of Aerospace Science and Technology, China Academy of
Aeronautics and Astronautics, China Academy of Engineering Physics, and Wuxi
Parker New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. His main research focuses on advanced
titanium alloys and layered metal-composite materials.
Prof. Dr. Hao Wu has been a professor at the Nanjing
University of Technology since 2021. From 2016 to 2021, he worked at Jinan
University, as a lecturer. He received his Ph.D. from the Harbin Institute of
Technology, which he attended from 2012 to 2016. He has led and participated in many scientific
research projects, such as an in situ study on the preparation and processing
process of metal matrix composite materials, a multiscale analysis of
microstresses and in situ characterization of deformation microstructures, and research
on the influence of residual stress on the deformation behavior of layered
Ti/Al composite materials. His main research focuses on the low-temperature
plastic deformation behavior of metal materials, the design and strengthening
of metal material structures, and the development and application of advanced
in situ characterization technologies.
Dr. Kesong Miao has been an associate professor at the Nanjing
University of Technology since 2023. Before that, he served as a postdoctoral
teacher at this university from 2021 to 2023. He received his Ph.D. from the Harbin
Institute of Technology, which he attended from 2016 to 2021. In addition, he is a guest editor
of the academic journal Crystals and an honorary member of the
Jiangsu Provincial Association for the Promotion of Foreign Science and
Technology. He focuses on the heterogeneous design and deformation mechanism
characterization of metal materials and has carried out distinctive research work
on the development of advanced characterization technologies for large-scale
scientific facilities.
Prof. Dr. Rengeng Li has been an associate professor at the Nanjing
University of Technology since 2022. Before that, he worked at this university
as a lecturer. He received a master's and doctoral degree from Dalian University
of Technology, which he attended from 2013 to 2019. He has participated in two scientific research
projects as the project leader, exploring the formation mechanism and regulation
criteria of Cu–Cr–Zr alloy nano-twinning and the design and preparation of
high-strength and high-conductivity copper alloys based on nano-twinning
regulation. His main research focuses on microstructure design and the regulation
of high-strength and high-conductivity copper alloys and advanced characterization
technology.
