Dr Ademola Clement Famurewa is a Faculty Researcher at the Department of Medical Biochemistry,
Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ebonyi State. He obtained his BSc Biochemistry
degree from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ogun State; his MSc Chemical Pathology
from the Premier University of Ibadan, Oyo State and his PhD Medical Biochemistry
from University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Enugu State. Dr Ademola's research interest
is phytomedicine (cancer and anticancer drugs) and molecular toxicology. He is
an award winner and fellow of The World Academy of Sciences
Postdoctoral Award, 2022 (Italy and India) and TetFund Postdoctoral Funding
Award (2022) tenable at the Liverpool John Moores University, England, UK. Currently,
Dr Ademola stands with an H-Index of 18 (Scopus) and 25 (Google Scholar)
accrued from over 95 research/review paper publications out of which over 60
papers were published in journals with Impact Factor (Clarivate Analytics). He
is ranked 234th and 211th among the top 500 authors in Nigeria by scholarly
output in 2023 and 2024, respectively (Scival Scopus, Elsevier). He won the
Best Researcher of the year/Convocation Mace Bearer Award, in 2020 and 2024 in his
University. Dr Ademola C. Famurewa is a member of the Nigerian Society of
Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. He is disposed to quality local and
international collaborations.
