Prof. Siliang Li currently serves as a professor at the School of Earth System Science at Tianjin University. He received his PhD in Geochemistry from the Institute of Geochemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2005. His overseas working experiences include being a visiting scholar in the Department of Earth Sciences at the University of Cambridge, U.K., IPGP, and Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon in France. In addition, Prof. Siliang Li is an excellent young scientist funded in 2015 by the National Natural Scientific Foundation of China (NSFC). Prof. Siliang Li's study is mainly focused on environmental geochemistry and environmental geography, including estimation of nitrate sources and transformation based on stable isotopes, chemical weathering processes in the rivers based on multi isotopes (δ13C, δ34S, δ7Li, δ44/40Ca), biogeochemical processes, and C-S-N coupling in mountain rivers. He has carried out over 10 research projects on biogeochemistry and nutrient cycling. He has published over 120 peer-reviewed journal papers and proceedings, among which over 70 are in international journals.
