Cristina Banfi, PhD (ORCID ID: 0000-0003-3346-9879; Scopus ID 6603951888, h-index 35) leads the Functional Proteomics, Metabolomics, and Network Analysis Unit, and serves as the Target Discovery Programme Coordinator at IRCCS Centro Cardiologico Monzino in Milan, Italy. She is also an Adjunct Professor of Biomedical Omics at the University of Milan, with over 150 peer-reviewed papers and book chapters. Dr. Banfi oversees national and international health and biomedical research projects, focused on atherosclerosis, thrombosis, and inflammation.
