Prof. Weiyang Lin is a professor at the Research Instituteof Intelligent Control and Systems, Harbin Institute of Technology. He received his Ph.D., majoring in mechanical and electronic engineering, from the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Harbin Institute of Technology (2008 to 2013). In addition, he is a part-time professor at Pengcheng National
Laboratory, a member of the Standardization Working Committee of the Chinese Society of Automation, a member of the Chinese Society of Automation, and a member of the Intelligent Decision Committee. His research areas include robot visual servo theory and control, advanced motion control technology, robot cognitive and behavioral control technology, human–machine interaction, coexistence theory and technology, and advanced robotics and control.
