Jian Luo received his BSc in electrical engineering from Tsinghua University in 1984 and his MSc in electrical engineering from the First Academy of Aerospace Industry in 1987. He completed his PhD studies in electrical engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Prof. Dr. Luo is a Professor at the School of Mechatronic Engineering and Automation at Shanghai University. His research interests include optimized electrical machine and drive design, modeling, and simulation.
