Prof. Dr. Zhuwei Wang is currently an Associate Professor at the Beijing University of Technology, Beijing, China. He received his Ph.D. degree from the Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Beijing, China, in 2011. During October 2008 and October 2010, he was a Visiting Scholar with the Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering, University of California in San Diego, La Jolla, CA, USA. During October 2012 and October 2014, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Columbia University in the City of New York, NY, USA. His research interests include networked control systems, edge computing, real-time control, optimal theory, and artificial intelligence.
Prof. Dr. Chao Fang has been an Associate Professor at the Beijing University of Technology since 2015. He received his Ph.D. degree from the State Key Laboratory of Networking and Switching Technology in Information and Communication Engineering from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Beijing, China, in 2015. He won the Best Paper Award of IEEE ICFEICT 2022. From August 2013 to August 2014, he was funded by the China Scholarship Council to visit Carleton University, Ottawa, ON, Canada, for a joint doctorate. Moreover, he was a visiting scholar at the University of Technology Sydney, Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Kyoto University, and Muroran Institute of Technology. He is a senior member of IEEE, the Vice Chair of the technical affairs committee in IEEE ComSoc Asia/Pacific Region (2022–2023), and the leading Editor of Electronics and Symmetry Special Issues. He also served as the Session Chair of ICC NGN’2015 and ICCC NMNRM’2021, ICFEICT Workshop Chair’2022, and Poster Co-Chair of HotICN’2018. His current research interests include future networks, intelligent network control, and mobile edge computing.
