Dr. Katy Cooper is a Senior Research Fellow in systematic reviewing and evidence synthesis at the School of Medicine and Population Health, University of Sheffield, where she has worked since 2004. She undertakes systematic reviews and Health Technology Assessments on behalf of the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), the NIHR, the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) and other organisations. She undertakes reviews on a range of topics including new medicines, diagnostic and prognostic tests, screening programmes, and complex interventions. She also leads systematic reviews as part of our Knowledge Exchange partnerships with industry, government bodies and charities. Her research interests include systematic review and meta-analysis of healthcare interventions; diagnostic and prognostic tests; screening programmes; complex interventions; and public health interventions.
