Dr. Yuan Li is an Associate Professor at the School of Computer and Information Engineering, Henan Normal University, Xinxiang, China. She completed her PhD studies in Mechanical Engineering at Hunan University in 2015. She recently led the “Research on Key Technology of Dynamic Simulation of Elastic Mechanics in Digital Twin Scenario Based on Physical Information Neural Network” projects. Her research interests include Machine Learning and Deep Learning Theory and Engineering Applications, Industrial Digital Twin Simulation and Operations and Maintenance, and Computational Mechanics.
Dr. Yun Li is a Professor at the Shenzhen Institute for Advanced Study, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Shenzhen, China. He completed his PhD at the University of Strathclyde. From 1991 to 2018, he was an intelligent systems Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, and Professor at the University
of Glasgow, teaching and researching artificial intelligence (AI) for engineering systems and serving as Founding Director of the University of Glasgow Singapore as well as of joint education with University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC). His original research put forward the new concept of “Computer Automated Design” (CAutoD) based on intelligent data and proposed optimal empirical formulas such as PID based on CAutoD, which changed the traditional “computer-aided design” method based on the third paradigm of science. Prof. Yun Li is currently a Cheung Kong Chair Professor at Shenzhen Institute for Advanced Study, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, the Director of the Industrial Innovation Research Center for Artificial Intelligence, and a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE). His research interests include Artificial Intelligence,
Computer-Automated Design, Electronic Design Automation (EDA), and Intelligent Systems
and Control.
