Dr. Jongseock James Shin is the assistant director of academics at America Evangelical University (Gardena, California) and teaches systematic theology. He is also an adjunct professor of systematic theology at Fuller Theological Seminary. He achieved his Ph.D. in systematic theology with a specialization in Trinitarian panentheism and theology–science dialgoue in 2020. Shin published peer-reviewed articles on the doctrine of the Trinity, public theology and ecclesiology, and natural theodicy, in Neue Zeitschrift fürSystematische Theologie und Religionsphilosophie, Pneuma, and Evangelical Review of Theology and Politics, International Bulletin of Mission Rearch, and T&T Clark Handbook of Suffering and the Problem of Evil. His Ph.D. dissertation, Natural and Cosmic Theodicy, was published in Pickwick Publication in 2023. He is a member of AAR and ASM, presenting at their national and regional meetings.
