Dr. Guozhi Wang graduated from the Department of Microbiology at Xiamen University in February 1982 and served as an intern researcher and assistant researcher at the Institute of Drug and Biological Products Control of the Ministry of Health. From May 1985 to November 1988, he was a visiting scholar at the Department of Medical Microbiology at Wisconsin Madison University in the United States. Since 1989, he has been working in the Vaccine Room of the Chinese Academy of Food and Drug Control and the Mycobacterium Professional Laboratory of the Medical Strain Collection and Management Center of the Ministry of Health. He has also served as a member of the Academic Committee, Degree Evaluation Committee, Standardization Committee, Laboratory Director, and Researcher of the Chinese Academy of Food and Drug Control. As the first host, he has won two second-place prizes at the National Science and Technology Progress Awards and three second-place prizes at the Provincial and Ministerial Science and Technology Progress Awards.
