Prof. Xiaolong Zhou received his Master's degree and Doctor's degree from Kunming University of Science and Technology in 2001 and 2009, respectively. He is currently working as a professor in the faculty of materials science and engineering, Kunming University of Science and Technology. He is a member of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Electrotechnical Alloys, and an expert of the Provincial Science and Technology Consultation Expert Pool of Guangdong province, Jiangxi province, Hebei province, and Yunnan province. His researches focus on the study of microstructure and properties of rare and precious metal materials, in-situ synthesis and preparation of metal matrix composites and their applications, simulation and computation, preparation and processing and application of novel copper-based alloys, and computation, preparation and application of zero-dimensional and two-dimensional heterostructured materials.
