Dr. Lawrence Tanner completed his PhD studies at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1990. Currently, he is a professor of environmental sciences at Le Moyne College in New York. Much of his research focuses on the paleogeography and paleoclimate of the Late Paleozoic and Mesozoic world, as well as changes in modern landscapes and ecosystems due to anthropogenic warming.
