Prof. Bingzhen Sun is the Vice-Dean of the Xidian University School of Economics and Management and the Director of the First-level Doctoral Program in Management Science and Engineering. He received his Ph.D. in Management Science and Engineering from Tongji University in 2013. From 2006 to 2015, he worked at the School of Transportation, Lanzhou Jiaotong University, where he served as a teaching assistant, lecturer, and associate professor. From April 2012 to September 2012, he worked as an assistant researcher at the School of Information Technology, Macau University of Science and Technology. Since 2015, he has worked at the Xidian University School of Economics and Management, where he has served as an associate professor, professor, and vice dean. His main research interests are intelligent decision-making integrating granular computing and machine learning, data-driven medical decision-making, emergency management decision-making, and high-frequency trading prediction decision-making. He is a reviewer for more than 40 domestic and foreign academic journals; a director of the Emergency Management Professional Committee of the Chinese Society for Systems Engineering; a director of the Data and Knowledge Professional Committee of the Chinese Society for Systems Engineering; a reviewer for the National Natural Science/Social Science Foundation Project; and a reviewer for the China Postdoctoral Foundation Project.
