Dr. Luz M. Ocamo-Carmona is an Associate Professor in Materials and Minerals at the National University of Colombia, Medellin Campus. She holds a DSc and an MSc in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Her research interests include corrosion and protection, electrochemistry, materials recycling, electrometallurgy, recovery of metal waste, and Green Chemistry.
Dr. Leopoldo GutiƩrrez is a Metallurgical Civil Engineer at the University of Concepcion. He holds a Master of Applied Science (MASc) and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the University of British Columbia, Canada. His research interests include mineral flotation, applied physical chemistry of surfaces, rheology of mineral suspensions, flotation of minerals, surface physicochemistry, geometallurgy, and concentration processes.
