Dr. Weiwei Xu has been an associate professor at the School of
New Energy, China University of Petroleum (East China) since 2017. Before that,
she was a lecturer at the School of Storage, Transportation and Construction
Engineering, China University of Petroleum (East China) from 2013 to 2016. She studied for
her Ph.D. at Zhejiang University, Institute of Chemical Machinery, from 2010 to
2013. She has led and participated in many scientific research projects, such
as research on the mechanism of underwater high-temperature and high-speed jet
noise, research on the mechanism of underwater multi-bubble coupled vibration
and noise, research on the mechanism of water droplet effect in oil-phase space
electric fields, etc. Her research focuses on the mechanism of multiphase flow
separation and optimization of separation equipment design, pneumatic
multiphase flow transportation design and calculation, and research on noise
prediction and control technology for offshore platforms.
