Prof. Dr. Xiang Ao has a position as an associate professor and master’s supervisor and is currently working at the School of Petroleum Engineering, Chongqing University of Science and Technology. In 2017, he received a Ph.D. in Mining Engineering from Chongqing University, and in the same year, he went to Chongqing University of Science and Technology to engage in scientific research and teaching. In 2022, he was awarded the title of Bayu Young Scholar, and in January 2021, his team was awarded the title of Chongqing Huang Danian-style Teacher Team. He is currently a member of the Chongqing Petroleum and Natural Gas Society, and a reviewer of the Journal of CO2 Utilization, Journal of Natural Gas Science and Engineering, and Journal of Petroleum Science and Engineering. He has undertaken 6 projects including the National Natural Science Foundation and the Chongqing Natural Science Foundation, and participated in 3 projects including the National Natural Science Innovation Research Group Fund and the 973 Project. He published more than 30 academic papers, more than 10 of which were included in SCI and 12 in EI, and trained 5 master students.
Prof. Dr. Zhezhi Liu graduated from Southwest Petroleum University with a Ph.D. in Oil and Gas Field Development Engineering. He has a position as an associate professor and master’s supervisor and is currently working at the School of Petroleum Engineering, Chongqing University of Science and Technology. He is mainly engaged in basic theory and applied research related to enhanced oil and gas recovery technologies (chemical flooding, gas flooding, profile control/displacement control, thermal recovery, etc.). He presided over one sub-project of the National Natural Science Foundation Regional Joint Fund Project (key project), four provincial and ministerial vertical projects (including one sub-project of the key project), and two international cooperation projects, participated in three projects including the National Key Basic Research 973 Project and the National Major Science and Technology Special Project, and cooperated with oilfield units to preside over six horizontal commissioned projects of the oilfield. He has published more than 20 academic papers, including 13 papers indexed by SCI, 2 papers indexed by EI, and 4 papers indexed by Chinese Core Journals/CSCD. He has authorized 2 international invention patents, 8 national invention patents, and 2 software copyrights. He has won four provincial and ministerial awards, including the Chongqing Science and Technology Award, and two of his conference papers were awarded first prizes.
Dr. Shijie Zhu holds a master’s degree in petroleum and natural gas engineering and a doctorate in oil and gas field development engineering from Southwest Petroleum University. He has a position as a lecturer and master’s supervisor and is currently working at the School of Petroleum Engineering, Chongqing University of Science and Technology. He conducts scientific research on chemical flooding to enhance oil recovery, participates in more than 30 scientific research projects, and presides over five vertical scientific research projects at the provincial and ministerial levels or above. He has written and published more than 40 academic papers (more than 20 included in SCI and more than 10 Chinese core/CSCD papers). He has obtained more than 20 authorized invention patents and more than 10 other authorized intellectual property rights (utility patents, software copyrights, etc.). He has won three provincial and ministerial science and technology awards, including one first prize for technological invention (ranked 2/12) and one first prize for scientific and technological progress (ranked 2/15). He served as the first young editor of the Chinese core/CSCD journal “Oil and Gas Reservoir Evaluation and Development”.
Prof. Zhonghua Chen graduated with a master’s degree in oil and gas field development engineering from Southwest Petroleum University in 2005. In the same year, she joined the Exploration and Development Research Institute of PetroChina Southwest Oil and Gas Field Branch. From October 2007 to May 2008, she attended a six-month “Professional English” intensive course at Beijing Petroleum University. In July 2013, she participated in the 2013 International Petroleum Technology and Management Training at the Canadian Petroleum Training Center. In December 2013, she obtained the title of senior engineer. In July 2014, she joined Chongqing University of Science and Technology. She is mainly engaged in the research of seepage and development theory of low-permeability tight oil and gas reservoirs and the research of oil and gas field enhanced recovery. She has presided over and led more than 30 scientific research projects at various levels, including two provincial and ministerial level projects and two bureau-level projects. She has won 1 third-class provincial and ministerial-level science and technology progress award, 2 first-class bureau-level science and technology progress awards, participated in the publication of 1 monograph and an early morning industry standard, and published 10 papers, including 4 as the first author.
