Dr. Candace K Chan is an Associate Professor of Materials Science and Engineering at the School for Engineering of Matter, Transport, and Energy (SEMTE), Arizona State University. She completed her Bachelor’s studies in Chemistry at Rice University and her PhD studies in Physical Chemistry at Stanford University. Her research group currently works on the synthesis and evaluation of engineered nanomaterials to address critical issues in lithium batteries, electrochemical energy conversion and storage, photocatalysis, and water treatment.
