Athanasia Kafasi received her Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the National and Kapoditrian University of Athens (NKUA) in 2013 and her Master's Degree in Applications of Biology in Medicine from the same University in 2015, and is now completing her PhD in Medical School of Athens. She has been awarded a scholarship from the State Scholarships Foundation for her Master's Degree and a scholarship for her PhD from The Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation. She has been working since 2017 as a Molecular Diagnostics Assistant in the Virology Unit of Medical School of Athens aquiring an Academic Scholarship. Her research topics mainly include: Molecular Diagnostics, Microbiology, Virology, Medicine.
