Bin Cao was born in Shanxi province, China, on 12 May 1993. He received the B.S. in power system and its automation from North China Electric Power University, Beijing, P.R. China, in 2014. He received the M.S. degrees in high voltage engineering from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Tsinghua University, Beijing, P.R. China, in 2016. He is now pursing the Ph.D. degree in Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. His research field is outdoor insulation.
Fanghui Yin was born in Ji’an, Jiangxi Province, China, in May 1983. He received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees at Chongqing University, Chongqing, China, in 2004 and 2008, respectively. Then, he obtained his Ph.D. degree at Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (UQAC), Canada, in collaboration with Chongqing University, China. After that, he did his postdoctoral research at Shenzhen International Graduate School (SIGS), Tsinghua University from 2017 to 2020. He is now an Assistant Professor at SIGS, Tsinghua University. His main research interests include high voltage technology, external insulation, and transmission line’s icing.
