Hongwei Zhao received his Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Jilin University, Changchun, China, in 2006. He is currently the Vice President of Jilin University. He is a Distinguished Professor and
Doctoral Supervisor of Jilin University. He is the Leader of Science and Technology Innovation in the “Ten Thousand Talents Program”, and was part of the first batch of young scholars in the Yangtze River Scholars Award program of the Ministry of Education. He has been engaged in the research of bionic precision drive, material performance testing technology and equipment, and ultraprecision machining technology and equipment. He is a winner of the National Science Foundation for Outstanding Young Scholars, among other awards.
Hu Huang received his B.E. and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Jilin University, Changchun, China, in 2010 and 2014, respectively. He was a Research Fellow at Keio University from 2014 to 2017, supported by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science. He is currently a Full Professor in mechanical engineering at the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Jilin University. His research interests include precision machines and instruments, the mechanical properties of materials, and surface modification of materials.
