Yolanda Elizabeth Salazar Granizo obtained her Bachelor's degree in Nursing from the National University of Chimborazo in 2003 and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Clinical Medicine and Public Health from the University of Granada, Spain. She has been Associate Professor 3 at the National University of Chimborazo since 2003. In 2021 she was elected Administrative Vice-Chancellor of the same university. Her main research topics include nursing care, quality of life, patient safety, and academic training in nursing.
