Dr. Achraf Ammar currently works at the Department of Training and Movement Science, Institute of Sport Science, Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. He holds a PhD in Sports Science from the Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg. Dr. Achraf Ammar does research in multidisciplinary Approaches, public health, movement and training science, nutritional biochemistry, sports medicine and exercise physiology, and biomechanics. His current projects are the MEDIET4ALL project (PRIMA European program), Effects of Home Confinement on Multiple Lifestyle Behaviours (ECLB-COVID19), Polyphenols supplementation for sports performance and brain health, and Motor learning models in strength training (e.g., weightlifting).

Prof. Yassine Trabelsi is currently a University Professor at the Department of Biological Sciences, Higher Institute of Sport and Physical Education at the University of Manouba in Tunisia. He has a PhD in Biological Sciences and has been a member of the research laboratory of the physiology of exercise and physiopathology at the Sousse Faculty of Medicine at the University of Sousse since 1999. In addition, he is a member of many scientific societies, has published in many indexed international journals, and has presented at many international congresses. Prof. Yassine Trabelsi's research field includes pulmonary rehabilitation in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD); rehabilitation in patients with mild cognitive impairment; the physiology of sport and exercise; and growth, maturation, and physical performance.
