Prof. João Poças Martins completed his Major Degree in Civil Engineering in 2000 at Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto and his PhD degree in Civil Engineering in 2009 at Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto. He is an Assistant Professor in Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto. Dr. João Poças Martins is also a member of the Civil Engineering Department, FEUP, and a member of the R&D unit CONSTRUCT—Institute of R&D in Structures and Construction. In 2023, he was the R&D Director at BUILT CoLAB. In his curriculum, the most frequent terms in the context of scientific and technological output are interoperability; engineering and technology; civil engineering; technological sciences; and building information modelling.
