Aba Lőrincz is currently a Junior Assistant Professor at the Department of Thermophysiology, Institute for Translational Medicine, Medical School, University of Pécs, Pécs, Hungary. He first earned his Doctor of General Medicine degree from the University of Pécs, Medical School in 2020, then completed his Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, University of Pécs in 2023. He also completed his Ph.D. studies at the Institute for Translational Medicine, University of Pécs, Medical School in 2024. His work intersects medical practice, research, and biomedical engineering, with a recent focus on enhancing pediatric care through fracture detection and classification using artificial intelligence and evaluating child-friendly interventions, such as bioabsorbable implants.
