Lamiaa Abdul-Jabbar Dawod obtained her Bachelor's degree from Mustansiriyah University in 1999. She then pursued a Master's degree at the University of Baghdad in 2014 and completed her PhD at the same institution in 2022, focusing on statistics. Lamiaa has taught this subject at the Central Technical University.
Shahryar Ghorbani received the B.Sc. degree from the Tabriz University, Iran, in 2003, the M.Sc. degree from the Tabriz University, in 2006, and currently as Ph.D. candidate at Sakarya University in production management. His research interests include supply Chain Management, Production, operation Management and optimization.
Dr. B. M. Golam Kibria is a Professor and Graduate Director (Statistics Division) in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Florida International University (FIU). He also taught at the University of British Columbia & the University of Western Ontario, Canada and Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh. Dr. Kibria has diverse research interests, mainly in Applied Statistics, Biostatistics, Distribution Theory, Quality Control, Linear Model, Ridge Regression, Statistical Inference and Simulation Study. Since 1993, he has about 275 full research articles either published or accepted for publication in different internationally well-reputed statistical journals, 22 conference proceedings and co-authored two books. Dr. Kibria has supervised as a major (or co-major) professor of two Ph.D. and 23 masters students and 28 undergraduate students at FIU. Currently he is supervising (as co-major) four Ph. D. and one masters students. He has served and serving about 86 Ph.D. and M.Sc thesis committees at FIU and abroad (Australia, Canada, India, Pakistan, South Africa and Sweden). He has presented many papers at different international conferences and universities. Dr. Kibria is the recipient of several awards: FIU Top Scholar Award 2024, FIU Faculty Award for Excellence in Research & Creative Activities, 2021, Certificate of Excellence in Reviewing Award 2018, awarded by the Journal of Advances in Mathematics and Computer Sciences.
