Prof. Dr. Youfa Wang obtained his PhD from the School of Public Health at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, in 2001. In 2016, he served as an Adjunct Distinguished Professor at the School of Public Health, Tianjin Medical University. In the same year, he was awarded the Health Chairman Award by John & Jane Fisher and served as the Associate Director of the Fisher Institute of Health and Well-being, Director of the Systems-Oriented Global Childhood Obesity Intervention Program, and Professor of Nutrition and Health Sciences at the College of Health, Ball State University. He was also awarded the 2016 China Health Policy and Management Society (CHPAMS) Inspiration Award.
Dr Zumin Shi is a Professor of Nutrition in the Human Nutrition Department at the College of Health Sciences, Qatar University. He obtained his PhD in Nutritional Epidemiology from the University of Oslo. His research interests focus on the relationship between food intake, lifestyle, and chronic diseases such as obesity, diabetes, and sleep disorders. He is the principal investigator of several population studies in China, Australia, and Qatar. Dr. Shi has over 300 peer-reviewed publications and is currently actively involved in various research projects across Qatar, China, Australia, and the USA. He was listed in Stanford University’s list of the top 2% scientists in the world.
