Adrian Groza is a professor of Artificial Intelligence,  Department of Computer Science, Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, European University of Technology. His current work involves research on logic, natural language understanding, and ontology engineering. He coordinates the Intelligent Systems Group (https://isg.utcluj.ro/. More recently, his research has focused on (1) modeling puzzles in first-order logic; (2) designing deduction games for teaching logic; (3) applying argumentation for conflict resolution in ensemble learning; (4) modeling the distinction between argument and explanation in dialogue; and (5) analyzing arguments conveyed by people in the public arena regarding climate change.  His research interests include intelligent systems, artificial intelligence, multi-agent systems, and knowledge representation.
