Giovanni Latella obtained his degree in Medicine in 1982 and a specialization in Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy in 1986 from the University of Rome "La Sapienza." From 1990 to 1993, he was a Professor of Coloproctology, and since 1994, he has been a Researcher and Professor of Gastroenterology at the University of L'Aquila, Italy. His research interests are Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Nutrition, Internal Medicine, Public Health, Life and Environment Sciences, and Digestive Endoscopy.
