Dr. Jun Xing holds a bachelor’s degree in polymer materials and engineering from Hubei University and a master’s and doctoral degree in biomedical engineering from South China University of Technology. Her research direction is the construction of functional nanomaterials and the study of their biological effects, mainly including surface functionalization of medical materials, antibacterial/anti-tumor nanocomposites, and electrical microenvironment regulation of cell behavior. She applied for and obtained approval for one of the “Hundred Steps Climbing Program” projects of the South China University of Technology and participated in the application, acceptance, and research of many projects, including the 13th Five-Year National Key R&D Program, the National Natural Science Foundation of China’s key projects, the National Natural Science Foundation of China’s international (regional) cooperation and exchange projects, and the National “863” Program. She authorized/accepted 5 national invention patents, including 1 PCT international patent. She has published many SCI-indexed papers in well-known journals in the fields of materials and biomaterials. She has participated in many academic conferences at home and abroad.
