Dr. Chengwei He is an associate professor at the University of Macau. He obtained his Ph.D. from Sun Yat-sen University Zhongshan School of Medicine, and he was a postdoctoral fellow at Harvard Medical School. His interests mainly include the anticancer and anti-inflammatory pharmacology of Chinese medicinal herbs and natural compounds, the molecular basis and therapeutic strategies for cancer drug resistance and metastasis, and cellular stress responses (pharmacological implications and molecular mechanisms).
