Filippo Ceccato is a Senior Assistant Professor in Endocrinology at the Department of Medicine of the University of Padova and a consultant in Clinical Endocrinology in the Endocrine Unit (with expertise in pituitary and adrenal diseases) at the University Hospital of Padova. His research is focused on the diagnosis of pituitary and adrenal neoplasm (e.g., Cushing’s syndrome, adrenal carcinoma, incidentaloma, acromegaly, and adrenal insufficiency), the clinical applications of mass spectrometry for cortisol-related diseases, the management of disease-related complications, and the identification of genetic alterations in endocrine tumors. In 2018, he completed his PhD in Endocrinology and Metabolism at the University of Padova and obtained an Italian National Scientific Qualification as an Associate Professor in Endocrinology (MED/13, 06/D2). In 2019, he received the Award for Best Researcher in Endocrinology under 35 from the Italian Society of Endocrinology. He is a Senior Editor for the “Adrenal” section of the Editorial Board of Endocrine Connections and a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Endocrinological Investigation.
