Dr. Inimfon A. Udoetok
is a Lithium Extraction Chemist Manager at Arizona Lithium Limited (AZL), a company
that explores and develops lithium projects in the United States. He is also an
Adjunct Professor at the University of Regina, where he co-supervises graduate students
and teaches chemistry courses. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Applied Chemistry
from the University of Uyo in 2002, his Master’s degree in Industrial Chemistry
from the University of Port Harcourt in 2006, and his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the
University of Saskatchewan in 2018. After completing his Ph.D., he worked as a Post
Doctoral Fellow at the University of Saskatchewan from 2019 to 2021, and then as a Senior Process Development Specialist
at Prairie Lithium from 2021 to 2023. He joined Arizona Lithium Limited in July
2023. With over 10 years of experience in
biopolymer chemistry and water analysis, Dr. Udoetok has a wide and deep knowledge base in the modification of biomaterials
for the removal of a wide range of contaminants
from water. He is passionate about advancing
the field of environmental sustainability through biopolymer modification, lithium
extraction and contributing to the global transition to clean energy.
