Prof. Dr. Ping Zhao is now working as a professor at the
School of Mechanical Engineering, Hefei University of Technology. She received
her B.S. degree in engineering at the University of Science and Technology of
China in 2009 and obtained her Ph.D. degree at Stony Brook University in 2013. In
addition, she has won the Best Paper Award at the ASME International Conference
on Mechanisms and Robotics. In recent years, she has served on the organizing
committees of many international conferences such as ASME IMECE, IEEE CACRE,
IEEE ICMRA, etc., as a session chair, and as an associate editor of the ASME
JESMDT journal. Her research topics mainly include Mechanism/Robotics,
Rehabilitation Robots and Mobile Robot Path Planning.
