Prof. Dr. Fangping Cao is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Economics and Management, Beijing Forestry University. At the same time, he is also the executive director of the China Association of Private Technology Entrepreneurs, the executive vice secretary-general of the Heavy Metal Pollution Prevention and Soil Remediation Professional Committee of the China Environmental Protection Industry Association, and a member of the American Economic Association (AEA). He earned an M.Sc. in Economics from the School of Agriculture and Rural Development, Renmin University of China (1996), and he completed his Ph.D. studies in Management at the School of Economics and Management, Beijing Forestry University (2005). He mainly engages in scientific research and teaching in the fields of business administration and industrial economics. His main courses include the undergraduate courses “Management” and “Industrial Economics” and the graduate course “Frontiers of Industrial Economics”. His main research areas are industrial construction and development, information industry economics, industrial sector economics, and industrial economics.
