Dr Benjamin Gardner is Reader in Psychology at the School of Psychology, University of Surrey, UK. He completed his PhD studies in Social Psychology at University of Sussex. He has published over 170 papers in various journals and serves as Co-Lead of the European Health Psychology Society Habit Special Interest Group, Founder and Co-Director of the Habit Application and Theory group at University of Surrey, and Co-Lead of the Institute for Sustainability's Sustainability Through Behaviour Change group at University of Surrey. His teaching disciplines include social and health psychology and behaviour change, and his main research interest lies in the psychology of habit and its application to real-world behaviours.
