Vafa Rostamiasl is a Ph.D. graduate in the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Ottawa. Her research interests include Building Information Modeling (BIM), Life Cycle Assessment and Costing, Sustainable Universal Design and Accessible Design, Virtual Reality, Cost Estimation, and Aging in Place.

Dr. Ahmad Jrade, Ph.D., P.Eng., M. CSCE, is an Associate Professor at the Department of Civil Engineering, University of Ottawa. Dr. Jrade is the Director of the Ottawa Carleton Institute of Civil Engineering, OCICE, and Graduate Coordinator with research interests in Construction 4.0; Bridge Information Modeling (BrIM); Building Information Modeling (BIM); Life Cycle Assessment and Costing; Sustainable Universal Design and Virtual Reality; Circular Economy; and Decision Support Systems.
