Dr. Minh-Ngoc Vu is a researcher at the Institute of Research and Development, Duy Tan University, in Danang (Vietnam). Currently, he is working in the geomechanic research field, civil engineering. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from Ecole des Ponts ParisTech (France). He served as an assistant professor of civil engineering at Le Quy Don Technical University (Hanoi, Vietnam) from 2006 to 2008. He was awarded the ALERT PhD Prize in 2013 and Honorable Mention of Itasca in 2020. His research interest mainly covers THM coupling in porous media, rock, and concrete behavior, tunnel modeling, fluid flow through fractured porous media, and hydraulic fracturing and boundary element method.
