Prof. Dr. Gyula Kovacs is currently a Professor, Consultant, and Doctoral Supervisor at the Department of Urology, Medical School, University of Pecs, Pecs, Hungary. He received his DSc in theoretical medicine from HAS in 1995. Prof. Dr. Kovacs’s current research focuses on
theoretical medicine and clinical medicine. He has supervised more than eight doctoral students until now. His main research areas include mitochondrial DNA, chromosomes, chronic renal failure, renal cancer, cancer biomarkers, tumor microenvironment, tumor progression, renal cell cancer, and molecular cell biology.
