Author Biographies

Adam Tjoelker is a PhD student in the Department of Geography and The Byrd Polar and Climate Research Center at The Ohio State University. Adam is a member of the Glacier Environmental Change Group under Dr. Bryan Mark and studies debris-covered glacier and rock glacier dynamics using drone-based photogrammetry and ground-penetrating radar. His prior degrees include a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a mechanical concentration from Calvin University and a Master of Arts in Geography from Ohio State. Adam's research is focused on improving scientific understanding of the impacts of global climate change on mountain glaciers that are insulated by rock and debris.
