Prof. Dr. Guofang Gong now works at the State Key Lab of Fluid Power Transmission and Control, National Engineering Research Center for Electro-Hydraulic Control, Zhejiang University, as a professor and supervisor of PhD candidates. He graduated from the mechanical engineering department of the Chinese University of Mining Technology (Beijing) and received his doctorate in June 2000. He mainly engages in integrating electro-hydraulic control systems and analyzing their performance, the tribological characteristics of their materials, and their applications in hydraulic components; hydraulic oil modulus tests; and other teaching and research work on hydraulic transmission and hydrodynamics.
Prof. Dr. Huayong Yang is the head of the School of Mechanical Engineering and the director of the State Key Laboratory of Fluid Power and Mechatronic Systems, Zhejiang University. He received a Doctorate in Philosophy from the University of Bath and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. He was elected as a member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering in 2013. His research interests are in motion control and the energy saving of mechatronic systems, the development of fluid power components and systems, the integration of electro-hydraulic systems, and engineering applications.
