Ryo Nishisaka is a lecturer at the Faculty of Global and Regional Studies, University of the Ryukyus. She completed her PhD studies at the Graduate School of Horticulture at Chiba University and was awarded the City Planning Institute of Japan in 2020. She has published many papers in various journals and her research interests include landscape planning and tourism.
