Renyun Zhang is an Associate Professor at the Department of Natural Sciences, Mid Sweden University. He received his B.Sc. in Microbiology from Anhui University in 2001 and earned his M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering and Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering at the Southeast University in 2004 and 2007, respectively. He was a Research Assistant at Hong Kong Baptist University (2006), a PostDoc (2008–2011), a Researcher (2011–2012), and an Assistant Professor (2012–2017) at the Mid Sweden University—Campus Sundsvall.
