Feng Cui received a B.S. degree and an M.S. degree in mechanical engineering from Changchun University of Science and Technology, Changchun, China, in 1999 and 2002, respectively, and a Ph.D. degree in Microelectronics and Solid State Electronics from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China, in 2007. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Micro/Nano Electronics, School of Electronic Information and Electrical Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research interests include MEMS devices and miniature systems such as micro biomimetic robots, micro inertial sensors, electromagnetic micromotors, and microfluidic chips.
Dr. Xiaosheng Wu is an associate researcher at the National Key Laboratory of Advanced Micro and Nano Manufacture Technology, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He graduated from Jilin University in 1998 with a major in mechanical manufacturing technology and equipment and received a master's degree in mechanical manufacturing and automation from Jilin University in 2001, and a doctorate in microelectronics and solid-state electronics from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2004. He was a lecturer at the Institute of Micro and Nano Science and Technology, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, from 2005 to 2009, a visiting scholar at Oklahoma State University from 2012 to 2013, and an associate researcher at the Department of Micro and Nano Electronics, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, since 2010. His specific research areas include new MEMS micro-gyroscopes, biochemical microsystems for point-of-care testing (POCT) based on microfluidics, and the application of embedded systems (FPGA, ARM) in MEMS devices. The projects that he has presided over and participated in as a project leader include the National Natural Science Foundation, the National Key R&D Program, the Shanghai Pujiang Talent Program, the Shanghai Professional Technology Service Platform Project, the Key Laboratory Fund, the Aerospace Support Fund, and other pre-research fund projects, as well as the horizontal cooperation projects between enterprises and research institutes.
